Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 July 2026
By using RiskLight, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the tool.
What the tool is
RiskLight runs an automated accessibility scan of a website against WCAG 2.2 AA criteria and gives you a plain-English summary of what it found. It is an informational starting point, not a professional audit.
What it is not
- It is not legal advice and not a certification of legal compliance.
- Fixing the issues it reports can reduce risk and improve your site, but it does not guarantee protection from legal claims.
- Automated scans detect an estimated 30–40% of accessibility issues. A full audit with manual testing is needed for a complete picture.
Acceptable use
- Only scan websites you own or have permission to test.
- Don’t use the tool to overload, probe, or attack any site or infrastructure.
- Don’t use it for any unlawful purpose or attempt to abuse or disrupt the service.
No warranty
The tool is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that scans are complete, error-free, or continuously available, and results may vary between scans.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RiskLight and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the tool or reliance on its results.
Changes
We may update, change, or discontinue the tool or these terms at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
